A new 5K trail loop starts every hour, on the hour, for 24 hours straight. Run one, run all twenty‑four, or anything in between — solo or as a 4‑person team.
Registration is handled entirely through UltraSignup. Both divisions move fast — this race has sold out every year.
$90.00 entry ($98.12 with UltraSignup fees). Run as many of the 24 hourly 5Ks as you want — your own pace, your own schedule.
$350.00 per team ($376.25 with fees). Split the 24 loops across four teammates however you like.
This isn't a traditional timed race. It's 24 separate 5Ks, back to back, for 24 hours — and you decide how many you take on.
Skip any 5K you like and jump back in whenever you're ready. There's no penalty for sitting one out — just fewer points.
Each 5K starts on the hour with everyone running it together. Finish before the next one begins (under an hour) to earn credit — no late starts.
There's a clock on course, but individual splits aren't what matters. What you earn is points — for finishing, for running through the night, and for placing.
All times Eastern.
Read it, know it, love it.
Every 5K you finish within the hour earns a point — up to 24 points for a perfect race.
Bonus point for each 5K completed during the midnight, 1 AM, 2 AM, 3 AM, or 4 AM starts — up to 5 bonus points.
Top male & female finishers in each hourly 5K score extra: 1st +4, 2nd +3, 3rd +2, 4th +1, 5th +1.
Complete all 24 of the 5Ks and earn 10 additional points on top of everything else. Ties in the standings are broken with a 0.6‑mile sprint.
Every loop is the same 5K trail course through the Pemberton Park trail system in Salisbury, MD. One well-stocked aid station sits at the start/finish with cold water, snacks, gels, sodas — and plenty of surprises along the way.
This is a cupless race: bring your own bottle, belt, vest, or handheld.
A rest area is included so you can set up camp, nap between loops, and hang out with other runners and volunteers between starts.
Tent spots only — 10'×10' for solo runners, 25'×25' for teams. Friday night camping is included with entry; Saturday night camping is available for an additional fee.
Four-person teams share the full 24 hours however they want — trade off loops, double up, or let your fastest runner chase every placement point. Team scoring works exactly like individual scoring, totaled across the squad.
Live from Pemberton Park during race weekend — Friday 6 PM through Saturday evening.
The Pemberton 24 is presented by Algonquin Ultras Inc. and Wicomico Recreation, Parks & Tourism.
